Ceramic & Graphite Insulation

These Blankets are solid, light and flexible and are produced from alumina * silica fibre, and are free of binders 'dry woven). During the production process the fibres are tightly woven i.e. Interlinked. This results in a tough blanket of strictly controlled thickness and bulk density with excellent handling properties.

Hi-Tech Carbon and Graphite Felts:

Hi-Tech Carbon and Graphite Felts: Are designed for use as high temperature insulation in resistance furnace or induction heated vacuum furnaces and inert gas furnace .Made of carbon or graphite fibers, these materials have low thermal conductivity and Vapour pressure. They are used in oxidizing atmospheres up to 3500C and in protective atmosphere or vacuum up to 30000C although carbon and graphite felts are slight electrical conductors, in a conductive field under 12 kilohertz ,they do not couple and heat up. At higher frequencies, the tendencies.

Grade HTG Graphite Felt: Graphite felt grade HTG is preferred for vacuum service because of it’s negligible gas evolution when heated to 30000C.It also exhibits the greatest oxidation resistance in the presence of trace oxidizing elements in the atmosphere .Shrinkage and water absorption are negligible. Grade HTG has been processed to a minimum temperature of 25000 C.
Have high purity levels with low sulphur content and are not wetted by most molten metals. Available in various thickness and can be easily cut with the scissors.

Grade HTC Carbon Felt: Carbon felt grade HTC is preferred for vacuum service because of it’s negligible gas evolution when heated to 14000C.It also exhibits the greatest oxidation resistance in the presence of trace oxidizing elements in the atmosphere .Shrinkage and water absorption are negligible. Grade HTC has been processed to a minimum temperature of 14000 C.
Have high purity levels with low sulphur content and are not wetted by most molten metals. Available in various thickness and can be easily cut with the scissors.
Carbon felts is used for application of lower temperatures where chemical purity is not as critical.
